So intriguing and I just kept theorizing a possible conclusion. Aug 05, Holly B rated it it was amazing Shelves: It was hard for me to follow sometimes and by the time I actually got the hang of who everyone was, half the people were slaughtered.

This is a good mystery. I was disappointed that they rewrote Christie’s ending and made everyone guilty; whereas in the book, Vera and Lombard are innocent.

Four little Indian boys going out to sea; A red herring swallowed one and then there were cnristie. Four little Indian boys going out to sea; A red herring swallowed one and then there were three. It’s an extremely quick read, fun, mysterious, and a grand ole time This book reminded me of all the slasher movies I enjoy watching because they had the same elements: It also caused difficulty holding my interest in the opening chapters and keeping the characters or suspects straight.

Haha, I just realised, if they had buried the dead, the judge wouldn’t have been able to kill the rest! Well, she got me!

Refresh and try again. I couldn’t quite grasp each character and found myself flipping back Read a lot of Agatha Christie when I was younger and remember reading her books with ease.

Interestingly, others, no less guilty, are not tormented by their conscience at all. I actually really wanted to like this book. That person died accidentally! I mean I wasn’t expecting to find MORE and for a different ethnicity, but pretty sure that was chtistie there from the very first draft. I mean he should’ve felt better and justified!

Did anyone else not really like this book? I have heard amazing things from Agatha Cristie and all about how you will never guess who the killer is. And Then There Were None. Anyways, so the story starts out with all the people being taken to the island.

For the most part the ending dhristie believable but not if you really think about it. This story kept me in suspense as it worked through the nursery rhyme and murder mystery. The storytelling seems flat, frigid, and, at times, slow-paced. Just a moment czso we sign you in to your Goodreads account.
